How long does a commercial HVAC installation take?
Timeline depends on system complexity and building size. A straightforward RTU replacement might take 1–2 weeks. A multi-zone VRF system or chiller plant installation can run 4–12 weeks. We provide a detailed timeline during the proposal phase and keep you updated throughout.
Can you install a new system while our building is occupied?
Yes — the majority of our installations happen in occupied buildings. We plan phased installations, schedule noisy work during off-hours, and coordinate with your property management team to minimize disruption to tenants and operations.
How do you determine the right system size for our building?
We perform a Manual J/Manual D load calculation (or equivalent commercial methodology) that accounts for your building’s square footage, orientation, insulation, occupancy, internal heat loads, and local climate data. Proper sizing prevents the short-cycling, inefficiency, and comfort problems that come from guesswork.
What brands do you install?
We’re not a single-brand dealer. We install Carrier, Trane, Daikin, Lennox, York, McQuay, and other major commercial manufacturers. We recommend equipment based on your building’s needs, budget, and long-term serviceability — not a manufacturer relationship.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We pull all required mechanical permits, coordinate inspections with the local authority having jurisdiction, and ensure your installation meets current Title 24 energy code and all applicable ASHRAE standards.
